A major B2B textile exhibition comprising YARNEX, TEXINDIA and Dy Chem Tex Process Show commenced on Thursday at Dana Mandi, Jagraon Road, Ludhiana, and will continue till December 21, 2025. The exhibition brings together a wide range of textile innovations, including fabrics, yarns, apparel, dyes, chemicals and allied services, drawing participation from 103 supply-chain partners from across India.

As one of the country’s leading textile hubs, Ludhiana is witnessing strong participation from industrial establishments and employers covered or coverable under the Employees’ Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952. In view of this, the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Regional Office Ludhiana, has set up a dedicated outreach camp at the exhibition venue under the guidance of Saurabh Swami, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-I.

A designated help desk has been established, with trained staff deputed to educate stakeholders about the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rojgar Yojana (PMVBRY) and the Employees’ Enrolment Scheme, with the objective of enhancing workforce inclusion and expanding social security coverage. Visitors are also being informed about the various benefits and services offered by EPFO.

Regional PF Commissioner-I Saurabh Swami, Assistant PF Commissioner Jagdish Gakhar, along with other senior EPFO officers, visited the exhibition and interacted with participants to sensitize them about EPFO schemes and statutory provisions. He encouraged employers and industry stakeholders to make full use of the opportunity, ensure compliance with the provisions of the EPF & MP Act, 1952, and promote awareness of government-led employment and social security initiatives.

The initiative highlights EPFO’s continued efforts to strengthen voluntary compliance and increase awareness of employment-linked welfare schemes among the industrial and business community.
