Punjab Revenue Minister Hardeep Singh Mundian fulfilled a long-standing public demand on Sunday by distributing 5-marla residential plots to 61 underprivileged families in Bhupana village.

The Minister handed over allotment letters to the beneficiaries during a special ceremony, marking a significant step in the state government's rural upliftment drive. He emphasized that providing a secure home is the foundation for improving the quality of life for marginalized sections of society.

While addressing the gathering, Minister Mundian stated that the government under Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann prioritizes basic amenities such as housing, sanitation, and infrastructure. He noted that this distribution directly addresses a primary grievance of the village residents that had remained pending for years.

In addition to the land allotment, the Minister announced a development grant of ₹5 lakh for Bhupana village. This fund will support local infrastructure projects aimed at promoting equitable progress across the rural landscape of Ludhiana district.

Minister Mundian also shared details of a major upcoming healthcare initiative. He announced that the Punjab government will soon launch a universal insurance scheme providing cashless medical treatment worth ₹10 lakh per family for every resident of the state.

The Minister concluded by reaffirming the government’s commitment to inclusive growth. He assured the public that the administration continues to focus on livelihood support and transparent governance to ensure that the benefits of welfare schemes reach the most vulnerable citizens.
