Mayor Principal Inderjit Kaur and Ludhiana East MLA Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal inaugurated a project on Wednesday to install new water supply lines in Heera Vihar, Ward No. 13. The initiative aims to ensure an uninterrupted supply of potable water to local households.

The project costs approximately Rs 35 lakh and addresses the area’s deteriorating infrastructure. Residents had repeatedly complained about aging pipelines, which led to poor water quality and low pressure.

Mayor Inderjit Kaur stated that the Municipal Corporation prioritized this project to fulfill a long-standing demand from the community. She directed officials to complete the installation at the earliest to minimize inconvenience.

MLA Daljit Singh Bhola Grewal added that the Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, remains committed to upgrading civic infrastructure. He emphasized that the administration plans development projects based on direct feedback from residents to effectively meet local needs.
